Eiffel Tower

Eiffel Tower
The symbol of France’s capital city and one of the most recognisable images around the world, the Eiffel Tower stands tall, proud, and sometimes glittering over Paris and the Seine.
So friends how come i dont know reached to this post about Eiffel Tower, i think we can find in this quote.
"Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the question now. Perhaps then, some day far in the future, you will gradually without even noticing it, live your way into the answer."
- Rainer Maria Rilke
Very true isn't it.

This famous architecture designed by Gustave Eiffel, and from here it was named. Tallest building in the Paris.
I think by the way i should not think that i can describe the beauty of Eiffel in my words, so best way is Pictures, very rare pictures.

Friends have a look.

ClickJacking

This new word is buzzing in the computer world from the month of september, 2008.
So i decided to study it further, here you can get a idea about it.
This word you can say as "word of the month" for september, as it is now publishing in every article related to computer security, web browser etc.

This word was first used by the two most renowned software professionals
1. Robert “RSnake” Hansen founder and chief executive of SecTheory LLC
2. Jeremiah Grossman chief technology officer at WhiteHat Security Inc

By using this word they were going to present a seminar at OWASP NYC AppSec conference(Open Web Application Security Project Newyork Application Securityand before the conference was going to start, they refused to give the seminar and this made a interesting topic between people,  media and security specialists/professionals.

So What is ClickJacking?
In Grossman's words it is "Think of any button on any Web site that you can get to appear between the browser walls. Wire transfers on banks, Digg buttons, CPC advertising banners, Netflix queue.... The list is virtually endless, and these are relatively harmless examples. Next, consider that an attack can invisibly hover these buttons below the users' mouse, so that when they click on something they visually see, they actually are clicking on something the attacker wants them to."

All this thing i went through when one of my friend sent me a mail regarding Ctrl + C threats in Microsoft IE. It goes like this that when you copy some material using Ctrl + C or by copying data then any data that is copied on the clipboard, can be accessed via some websites, and if this can be done then you can think how bad it is because many of us use Ctrl + C regularly to put credit card no, ATM no etc to the related sites and if somebody hacked that data then what could be done by that information you can think it easily.

Specialists mention this as a tip of iceburg real problem is yet to come and that is what RSnake and Grossman did. They researched on this Browser Security related issues and information that they got was fascinating for them and so they decided not to share that information, because this is not the right time.
According to them if these problems revealed then everyone will go for the patches(third party) to solve the issue, but still problem arises who can trust on the third party vendors. So they decided that they would discuss these issues with the related Software companies(Microsoft, Mozilla, Apple, Opera, Google, Adobe) and they did. They went to the Adobe and told them the issues regarding Security, which they found in the Adobe Flash Player. Now they want that every Browser's company would come up with their patches only, so that problem can be solved to some extent. So they are waiting for Adobe to release their patches first then only they'll share their research data, code and everything.
These problems were also recognized by Microsoft and so they came up with their own patches in 2003 and 2004 for IE. Recently Mozilla also patched this clickjack vulnerabilty to their browser Firefox(NoScript Widget)

So what i got to know that Scripts are really dangerous to the privacy, security. Specially JavaScripts. The term that is used for this purpose is "Cross-site scripting".
Know yourself regarding plugin content (Flash, Silverlight, Java,DHTML,CSS...) and IFRAMES. So far 99.99 % (according to RSnakes's standards)of problems can be solved by installing NoScript widget into Firefox, and i would suggest you to go through various tutorials regarding how to solve these various problems using NoScript.
One thing at last i want to say that never click on anything if you're not sure what would be its result, in nutshell Prevention is better than Cure.
So friends share these things with your friends and keep reading regarding Computer Security, as it'll let you aware the ideas from which you can save your information.
See ya all.

Beautiful Holy Lake Mansarovar

Hi friends, from some days one thing kept running in my mind. "Mansarovar Lake"
Today i got some time for it.
This is what i learnt so far about it.

Mansarovar is a fresh-water lake in Tibet. In north of it, is Mount Kailash.Manasarovar Lake lies at 4,556 m above mean sea level. It is the highest fresh-water lake in the world.

Lake Manasarovar is relatively round in shape. The circumference of Manasarovar is 88 km, depth is 90 m.

According to Hindu religion, the lake was first created in the mind of the Lord Brahma... Hence, in Sanskrit it is called "Manasarovar", which is a combination of the words Manas (mind) and Sarovar (lake).

All this is little information, more you should google it.

Some Great Pics i could've managed to get from the net.

"I Dunno" Million Dollar Question

Hi Folks...
This is what i am again writing sth..
Yesterday i was listening to Shobha De and i found her that if woman decide sth that she is going to do that thing then she can do it in very well manner. But in Indian context this idea dont apply everywhere so easily, here women dont have enough freedom to do what they want to do.
Suppose if someone just completed her degree and if she wants to go to do Master then she has to think about that because parents are not ready or they want her to decide for the marriage. For her its like end of her life, she cant think beyond that, she is stucked in her ideas, she has to think about her next family, what they want her to do, whether they will allow her to go for the master or not, what if her would be husband also dont want her to do work, then it really becomes difficult for her to decide about her future. Whatever she has learnt so far would become useless for her, creativity stops, she just wasted her precious hard work, that work she has done all day all night long, for those projects she has burnt midnight oil.
Now again here comes two pictures of the Girls. Two type of girls. First one who want to do nothing, for them they've done so much that now they want to give rest to their mind. So no more study, no more tension, no more late night session, no more waking up early in the morning, no more boring lectures, no more project completion/submission.
So that problem arises only for those girls who wants to do something special in this life, who wants to go on a different path where nobody has left a trail ever, either from her family or from her group of friends. For them they believe something good has been written and they are here for some special purpose, for them this life is a purpose, a opportunity to give back something special to this world, from which they are getting so far.
So "i dunno what will happen" is the million dollar question nowadays.
Hope Situation will get change.

Entering into Second Phase

Ya friends now i am leaving my first phase (quite long one) and now entering into second most important phase of life my professional world, my career, into corporate world. So India is famous for their Software engineers but let me tell you thats what they(First world) really dont consider about us(Third world), they are seeking for the cheap labour, but this presumption is now changing. More and more new companies are emerging within this country. Now outside world is recognizing us for their creativity, unique approach. Orkut is one of the best example that we can give to the western world. ahhhhh what crap.... i am leaving this boring part. Lets go to some interesting one.

My first day of corporate world:

I was really excited when i was heading towards the company office along with my seniors and they were saying you are going to face a full day of boring presentations and lots of formalities. It was 21st July 2008. i reached there and there i got to know that all freshers are requested to gather at Congregation hall. There we got a list which contained schedule of the next presentations that we are going to face. First one was General Introduction about AMDOCS. Then from security director then some HR manager and at last we were given some forms and we filled those forms and i got free from all formalities at 7 o clock then i took company bus and as i reached to my apartment i rested for arnd half an hour. Tough day but was feeling energetic.

My first day at Pune:

As i landed here first i found only my flight's passengers were there and some air force fighter jet was there and airport was not so crowded and there in big letters "Pune mein AAPLE SWAGAT AAHE" (to some extent correct marathi i am trying to give some hand over it that i'll tell you later) was written. In flight i can see the lush green fields and farms of the pune surroundings. Pune is not exactly crowded in terms of buildings and all. Then my friend Ashish came over there picked me up from the airport, we met after so long time it was really nostalgic moment all my three years with him(party, study etc) came before my eyes and we went directly to our flat. During that half an hour glimpse i found Pune is quite and not so much traffic here but it was morning time 10 o clock and it was saturday also. So we were going through Army area and it was as usual clean, green, big fields, i saw Race course also, trees were dense and some of them were looking very old. Roads are not straight here, as ashish was also saying traffic signals and roads are not in properly manner. We could see hilly region from which Pune is surrounded. Weather was clear at that day it was not rainy as i was told earlier, but it was windy and sooner i find it is what pune always WINDY.

At last we reached to our flat and then from the flat's window i can see the hills, army area, church, a big play field and a nice stud farm, where horse riding was going on. As i saw horses i got excited and asked from my senior can we go there but he didnt know much about that, from that day i am dreaming riding on those horses. That stud farm must be having at least twenty to thirty horses. Flat was nice and clean but this was not the image i've been thinking because it doesnt match with the image of my room partners talli(Priyank Rawat) and bhendi(Ashish), but now they have changed so much now no leg pulling. So they have become more mature, more focussed, more aaaannn dunno...

So friends i'll come with my next experience again soon... till then Enjoy your life.

Power means HORSE

Hi Friends...so long time no see...Hahaha.....So whats going on in everyone's life as so many readers i've got. Jokes Apart.
So friend this new post that i've been waiting for long time to post but from some obvious reason ""being Lazy"" i coudnt get time to write, but finally wait is over. So as you all dont know that i'm doing horse riding from 10th june and as my riding getting better and better so i decided that now this is the time that i should write something about HORSE RIDING and about HORSES. This will be all what i've learnt so far from riding.
So first day my trainer told me about some basic rules, regulations and some terminologies such as
1. Never go back side of the Horse otherwise everybody knows what they(Horse) can do with their legs
2. Then he told me about basic terminology what Horse tack is? It is all the gear that comes with owning a horse. The saddle, bit, saddle pads, lead ropes, halters, whips, steps, horse boots, and most other horse things they all are called tack.
3. How to mount and dismount from the Horse but before that you should pat on the Horses' neck and on his head.
4. After that he told me how to hold the lead ropes, halters and how to put your toes into steps and how to put your all weight on the toes.
5. Then he told me about three basic run of the Horses that how they walk and how they run.
again terminologies interesting
a. normal one is like you are not jumping with the walk and run of the horse and not maintaining rhythm with horse walk(believe me it hurts you, first week of my riding was fantastic, somebody should've asked How is your THIGHS it was like gimme some Rest).
b. after catching rhythm with the horse walk then comes TROT when you are perfectly jumping with the walk of the horse.
c. third one is CANTER that is slow gallop or you can say slow running of the horse and it differs from the trot only in one manner and that is speed of jumping(so far you've become perfect in controlling the horse also), and in long run, in plain fields this CANTER becomes GALLOP(fast running of the Horse as all of you have watched in the Movies so far.)
6. Then after dismounting from the horse you should give SHABASHI or a warm pat on the horse neck and if you can arrange some sweet like GUDD or anything else it'll be better for making a good interaction between you and the horse.
7. How to put rope or rass into your hands and distance between palms should be around 5 to 7 inches and most important thing your hands shouldn't move with your jumping, otherwise controlling of horse becomes difficult.

After these rules and conditions i started my riding and first day was normal as i walked with horse, patted him, mounted and dismounted from the horse, and after sometime i did horse riding actually it was walking.
Somehow two days passed and after three four days i could manage myself with the jumping and rythm of the horse, then from next day they gave me special breed of horse it was TW breed specially for the military purpose. As my trainer was from the 61st battalion so many time he used to tell about his experience with the horses, horse riding and all, that conversation made my horse riding interesting. So the TW breed, horses from this breed are specailly trained into military and believe me that horse was really good in everything controlling, riding, walk, trot and moreover you've to be extra cautious while riding that horse.
So after two and half weeks around i did my first CANTER and it was really special ride, i could feel the thrill of horse riding and i was wondering how would it feel when i'll do Gallop, from that day i started giving more efforts to learn horse riding.
So far i've not done GALLOPING but i am looking for that opportunity in future. Hope for best.
So friends from this last sentence " I love Horse riding" i sign off.
Happy reading.
See ya all very soon.

Should BLOGS be regulated?

Hi friends yesterday i saw a program " We the People" on NDTV 24X7 at 8 p.m. and topic of the discussion was as the subject of this post "Should BLOGS be regulated?". Barkha Dutt was anchoring and many bloggers were their, famous one and all were discussing about their blogs and about content of their blogs. The Brave new world of blogs and i found this program really great so i thought why not should i share with you my friends. So here are some excerpts from my memories at best.
Why do people blog actually this answer can be given as
Is it for fame?
Is it for expressing yourself?
You want to be noticed among your colleagues you know status symbol.
There are 40,000 active bloggers in India and around 400,000 have got their blogs.
Blogs topics differ from interest to interest like their are
- gossiping blogs.
- study purpose.
- money purpose.
- time pass.
- liberation of their thoughts.
There are many candid bloggers who genrally write what they thought and they really dont care about whosoever is reading the blog neither about their parents nor about frineds, colleagues. They just want to be the different in this world.
There was one bloggers name JHUMMER BOSE and her blog was considered too candid, her blog name as
- whatgoesofmyfather?(mere baap ka kya jaata hai?)
- emancipationofeve
and one more that i forgot but she was really bold in that program.
some ppl also has got a name for her Foxy Tanya. She discussed that some nastiest comments come from anonymous and good comments alwas have name. Is it like betrayal of private domain then why are their so many blogger and moreover they are writing their blog in public domain so there is no such issue like privacy.
In that program barkha(anchor) gave a good example about the authenticity of the blogs it goes in this way
suppose there is a blog and it post a new topic(POST) about Kargil WAR and their is some conspiracy behind that war, corruption among higher levels of officer in politics and all. So where one would go for the authenticity of that blog, of that story, of that post.
some other factors goes in this way
- one will blog because you are feeling lonely, and you can blog to interact.
- Hindi blogging is increasing day by day and special thing abt that is content is really good, good matter. It shows that there are many who can write in Hindi also and very well, those ppl who didnt get any chance for any magazine and newspaper to write in it.
-Smsing and Emailing have made writting in short to some extent it affects writing, but blogging has revived the basic idea of writing and revolutionize that feeling.
-Rumours, gossiping always there back before independence but what was missing is Liberation and it has come through blogging. One can give comments for somebody who lives in england and about his blog, so this go vice versa. It gave a new high to writing.
meanwhile during break i watched another news channel TIMES NOW and there was another program which was giving the data for TOP 10 BPOs firms in India. It is following
10. EXL
9. HCL BPO
8. Intelinet
7. Infosys BPO
6. Wipro BPO
5. FirstSource
4. TCS BPO
3. Minax
2. WNS
1. GenPact ($823 million)
So friends that was all i remebered. See ya.

Mumbai and Daman Trip

It was 24th May when i left my second home yes my clg NITK where i enjoyed my four precious and golden years. My Dad and mama came over there and i went to Delhi, that day i really felt how hard to convince yourself that you're not coming over here again, anyway somehow i tried my best and that day passed. Next day(25th May) everything was gonna be changed, i was in flight to mumbai from Delhi thanks to my Mama. We reached over there at 4 p.m. and stayed at mini. Next day 26th May we went for the gokarting to Hiranandani Gardens. Weather was cool, everyone was enjoying life over there. Rock climbimg was one of the nice moment in my life that i won't forget specially of that night.

Now next day(27th May) in morning we were in the vapi near to Daman and in evening we went to Devka beach(In DAMAN), there i saw one of the greatest moment a person can see in his life "Sunset at the Beach", Sun was gradually going down and merged into the Sea, that was the moment
everyone wish to capture in his mind. I enjoyed
there a lot, Sea air and thunder strike, Sea waves and their immense power, Wow what a great scene. Then we came back to home and had a great dinner ALPHONSO. Great taste, Great MANGO.
It was 28th may we went to Jampor beach(Again
DAMAN), this beach is better then the Devka Beach beacause of white sand and less no. of people. One can feel himself close to nature overthere, now i can say how one can be changed to a great personality there by just going over there, a huge site, many events happening simultaneously(Sea waves, Air Power,Birds,Ships trees etc.), a great power, a great touch of the God, where human being can feel how little they are compare to the EARTH, Nature is calling you over there come and feel me, see the Sea and feel the zeal inside you waiting to come outside. Come on yaar its enough now you will say " what so great about that" but seriously for a moment i was there only. Anyway after that sight scene i did horse and camel riding. After having all fun we went to MIRASOL a nice Restaraunt over there worth for the Food lovers. There in Mirasol they have got Water Park, Lake, Small bird sanctuary, Train for the sight scene, Pool, Gaming centre. It was full of fun.
Next day(29th May) we came back to Mumbai before coming back to Mumbai we celebrated Priyanshu's Birthday(cute and very naughty boy), In Mumbai i had night stay at my senior's flat. It was great to see them again. 30th May everything was gonna change, this day was full of energy, lots of fun and enjoyment, I did bowling, dancing and gambling hmmmmmmmmm its really hard to come over from this feeling of greediness. Anyway it was also a nice experience. Then we went to McDonald as usual where one could go with the children. That day again passed enjoying every tick tock of the clock.
31st May and our time has come to go back to Delhi and Home.
It was really a great trip with full of enjoyment, lots of fun, lots of laughter, lots of naughtiness.

Cool things about this trip:
- First Flight Experience.
- Hiranandani Gardens Gokarting, Rajat's(My sweet Bro, who always try to prove himself but i have no doubt on his knowledge except his 10 times more facts and measurements) Rock Climbing.
-Anam's(between Mumbai and Wapi) Ussal Missal vada pav.

Vaishno Devi Tour

Hi friends i had a great vaishno devi tour on 22nd and 23rd february,2008.i went with my four friends
santanu, gaurav suri, lokesh and chandru
cool things about vaishno devi tour:-
spontaneous plan- we made the plan on 21st feb( but actually we have waited for this trip right from the first year).
- got the hemkund express at the right time and right general dubba(we got five seats).
- ticket 102 Rs. (kkr to jammu) and 45 (jammu to katra).
- took hotel for some rest = 100 Rs.- had breakfast gobhi tanduri parantha and aalu parantha. dahi mast tha.
- we started our chadhai at 9.30 a.m. (23rd feb) from katra and eventually returned from all temples at 11 p.m.(23rd feb).
- first we took autorickshaw from katra to Baan Ganga.- entry gate was very attractive. all made of makrana marbles.
- one more thing lokesh brought his olympus camera 7.0 megapixel and this is not the point, main thing he was really keen to take our photos, so he is in very few photographs. Thanks for his interest in photography that we had very cool pictures.
- from baan ganga our next stop was a shop from where we had lemon soda (banta).
- then we reached to adhkawari and then we learned that we are next in the queue, so we prepared for this and submit all our belongings like bags, wallet, belt, shoes, phones etc.
- our no. came after two hours, during that period we enjoyed with lokesh in the queue, we took fun of him. and ya one more point we shouted very loudly ""JAI MATA DI"".
- the experience in the cave was very wonderful. actually mein i don't have any prblm(from god's grace), but my friends were little bit afraid, anyway they also enjoyed very much.
- from Adhkawari vaishno devi shrine board made a tunnel for linking Adhkwari to new route to bhawan. this tunnel saved precious time and efforts because we can skip Sanjhi Chatt and HATHI MATHA. so we took that tunnel and reached to that new route.
- we reached to bhawan at 4.30. one more thing that we got to know that we can have darshan from the paani waali cave or i can say old cave for pindi darshan before 6 o colck, se we were getting ready for darshan very fast. water was very cold at bhawan and we took a very very cool bath.
- we reached to Gate no.1 entry point to darbaar for general public.
- now comes the interesting part of our trip that we can not forget. we entered into the gate no.1 at 5:05, and as soon we went in, i and suri start running santanu, lokesh and chandru were also running behind us. then we reached to first checkpoint. There two rows merged into one. one comes from military gate(we also tried for getting in from there as chandru father is in AIR Force, but we didnt get any permission, for that you've to register at katra only) and one is from gate no.1, as there was no security personnel so we entered into that queue and after checking we ran and ran and ran, people were asking why you people are going in this way. we all were saying only these types of lines while we were running "Oye ID Card hai na, we are from defence, ID card bahar nikal kar rakh, and few more.". and in this way we reached to the Darbar at 5.15 now this is what we can not forget.
- we had darshan and came out from the darbaar and we all were ready by the 6 o clock. so we took 1.5 hours at bhawan.
- now we have to go to Bhairav Mandir, as this is necessary if you want ur wishes to be fulfill. this route is not so easy, as you become very tired upto this time and route is also very steep.
- so we started, and decided that we'll go from the stairs, as route is not so wide and you will be cautious all the time of PONIES.- we reached bhairav mandir at 7.30 and got to know that mandir will open at 8 o clock. so we took some rest there.
- there we heard the story of Maa VAISHNO DEVI and BHAIRAV. It is very intersting to know about the place that you're visiting. All history and fundas and trivias...(Interesting)
- Again queue was not so long. we took around one and a half hour there. Water was as usual very chilled.
-After having Darshan we started back journey from Bhairav to Katra.
- it was 9.20 at that time then we again ran ran and ran, took all downstairs and plain road and finally we reached to Baan Ganga at 11.40. During that time we had Maggi,Cappucino at Nescafe.(Maggi was not so good but cappucino was good).
- we reached to katra by auto from there first we took a bus for Jammu as there was no direct bus from Katra to Delhi.
- Then after some time we saw a bus which was from Haryana Roadways and then we asked the conductor where the bus is going and we got to know it is going to Ambala. So we left that Jammu bus. Then the Drama started..All Jammu Roadways Bus staff came there and shouted on our driver that you took five passengers from this bus and if you go with them then we'll block your way and this drama remained for half an hour and then our bus finally started from there at 12.45.
- We reached to Ambala at 10.30 a.m.(24th feb). We had a great pain at that time. Legs, Arms, Neck and Headache.
- Somehow we reached to our Hostel. Then i took a Hot bath and a lunch, then went for the sleep as next day i've to go for Jaipur.
